🚀 Indie Project: Chispita — The Next Era of Mad Saturn Interactive

 

As we prepare for the final countdown and cosmic climax of Nodisea 2000, Mad Saturn Interactive is gearing up for its next major evolution as an indie animation studio.

Today, we are officially revealing the concept behind our upcoming animated series: Indie Project: Chispita.

🧪 What is Chispita about?

This project brings Chipitón into the animated world—a character performed by José Hernández, creatively known as EL PERSONAJE.

Chispita didn't start as a planned production—it grew organically out of collaboration and shared creative chemistry. As we wrapped up the heavier, more dramatic beats of Nodisea 2000's final season, we found ourselves wanting an outlet that let us experiment with a completely different tone: looser, funnier, and unapologetically irreverent.

• The Tone: A hilarious, unfiltered take on sci-fi, heavily inspired by the parody style of Scary Movie. Expect exaggerated set pieces, meta humor, and a self-aware attitude toward genre tropes.
• The Concept: We're blending sci-fi satire with an edgy, psychedelic twist involving illicit substances, dark comedy, and heavy musical energy. Music isn't just a backdrop here—it drives pacing and punchlines the same way visual gags do.
• The Next Era: Chispita marks the next major chapter for Mad Saturn Interactive, defining our voice in the adult indie animation space and proving our universe can hold more than one tone at once.

🎨 Why Now?

Building Nodisea 2000 taught us how to sustain a long-form, serious sci-fi narrative. Chispita is the counterbalance—a faster, looser production pipeline where we can iterate quickly, test short-form content, and connect with an audience that wants something rawer and more comedic from the Mad Saturn universe.

We are currently dropping early demo visualizers and concept tests. Full production will kick into high gear as soon as we wrap up season one of Nodisea 2000.
